What is CHANCE?
The CHANCE Programme is a community-based employability initiative addressing youth unemployment in Delft, Cape Town.
We equip young people with the practical skills, professional confidence, and industry exposure needed to enter and grow within the hospitality and service sectors.
CHANCE is not just another training programme. We are employment-focused, community-rooted, and industry-connected built to create lasting change from within.

Applicants from the Delft community submit a short application. Selected participants attend an interview and orientation session.
Practical, industry-relevant training in customer service, culinary skills, kitchen safety, and professional workplace conduct.
Every participant is supported by a mentor who provides guidance, accountability, and professional development throughout the programme.
Participants gain real-world experience through structured exposure to industry partners and hospitality environments.
Graduates are connected to entry-level employment opportunities, further training, or industry referrals within the hospitality sector.
